Since Cawthon is an independent developer, Five Nights At Freddy's 3 must go through the Steam Greenlight process just like the first two titles. The second game provided a higher frequency of scares per minute, but it looks like the third game is set to take the series back to its more suspenseful roots. Today, Five Nights At Freddy's 3 jumped into the Steam Greenlight process, and is expected to pass in record time. The series has had a ludicrous development cycle, with each sequel coming out mere months after its predecessor. After Five Nights At Freddy's 3 was teased by solo developer Scott Cawthon two weeks ago, gamers knew that a more official reveal wouldn't be too far behind. After returning home, the two split until future missions.Plastered in friendly animal posters, the grand re-opening of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria is almost at-hand - but not in a way most gamer's will expect. The player can choose to kill this new enemy and gain the shotgun as a useable weapon. Ryder attempts a robbery, but the boys cut and run when the cashier pulls out a shotgun. The two drive down to the barber shop, and then head to a pizza place across the street.

CJ goes to Ryder, and the overconfident gang member tells him he needs to get a haircut and change his clothes. When the gang gets back to Grove Street, the four part ways until future missions. During the ride (regardless of how well the player does), Ryder yells insults to CJ. This causes the gang members to get home on bicycles. The group is heading towards Smoke’s car, but a squad of Ballas in a long purple car streaks by, and blows up Smoke’s car. Somewhere in this Lance “Ryder” Wilson joins the group, and Kendl leaves. Arriving at the cemetery, the three are joined by the Johnson brother’s sister, Kendl. A heartfelt conversation is exchanged, and Big Smoke and Carl drive to meet Sean “Sweet” Johnson, Carl’s brother. After the confusion subsides, CJ explains to Smoke his reasons for returning home. Suddenly, Melvin “Big Smoke” Harris shows up, saying his iconic line, “You picked the wrong house, fool!”. When getting home, CJ remembers bad memories inside of the building. During this scene, it is heard that another officer has been gunned down. They force him to ride in their car, and leave him in what CJ calls “Ballas country”, and drive off.

His taxi is pulled over on the way into San Andreas, and city Officers Tempenny and Pendleberry force CJ out of the car and onto the ground. His narration tells the player he has been “on the east coast” for 5 years. San Andreas starts with Carl “CJ” Johnson at an airport.
